30 June – 5 July, 2013, Moscow, Russia
IV INTERNATIONAL
CONFERENCE ON COLLOID CHEMISTRY
AND PHYSICOCHEMICAL MECHANICS

All foreign participants of the IV International Conference On Colloid Chemistry And Physicochemical Mechanics (IC-CCPCM2013) and their accompanying persons should obtain an entry visa to the Russian Federation.

Note. For citizens of certain foreign countries, there may be exceptions allowing short-time visa-free travel to Russia, but such possibilities must always be checked in advance in the Russian embassy or consulate of your home country. In particular, the visa is needed for all citizens of European Union, USA, China, or Japan.

There are two main options for obtaining a Russian entry visa for participation in the IC-CCPCM 2013.

Humanitarian visas

Who can apply. Humanitarian visas, or visas for participation in scientific activities, can be issued to the Conference participants and the Visitors of the Conference, i.e. persons who take a direct part in the Conference activities. The visa supporting documents for humanitarian visas are given free of charge.

Dates for which visa supporting documents are given. The visa supporting documents for humanitarian visas will be normally given for the official dates of the Conference (from 30 June 2013 to 05 July 2013, inclusive). All requests on changing these dates (for example if you want to arrive earlier or to stay for one or two days more) should be addressed to the Conference Secretariat via exec@icc2013.ru.

Requirements. To apply for a humanitarian visa, you must, on the date of visa request, satisfy the following requirements

  • Your visa request must be not later than the deadline date for humanitarian visa requests (see below); and
  • Your registration fee must be paid in full

Due to strict time limits and bureaucratic formalities, we highly advice you to pay your registration fee and make visa requests in a very timely manner, because we can initiate the process of preparing papers for a humanitarian visa only after receiving the registration fee from you. The deadlines mentioned below shound be taken as the "latest possible" times; early application for visa support is highly appreciated!

The deadlines for humanitarian visa requests are as follows.

10 May 2013Deadline for requesting visa supporting documents for humanitarian visa to the Conference participants (in general case)
20 May 2013Deadline for requesting visa supporting documents for humanitarian visa to the Conference participants based on the EU—Russia Agreement on the Facilitation of the Issuance of Visas of 2006 (EU citizens except UK, Ireland; for applicability, consult the Russian consulate in your country). Note. You do not pay consular fees if you apply for a humanitarian visa based on the mentioned EU—Russia Agreement, see article 6, paragraph 3, clause (h) of it.

After your visa request, all necessary documents will be sent to you by email and conventional mail on behalf of the Organizing Committee. Note that in case of a humanitarian visa, you are not limited with hotels offered by our Service Agent and may book any hotel in Moscow as you like on your own.

If you have any questions about the humanitarian visa support please contact the Conference Secretariat: Mr. Fyodor Kulikov-Kostyushko, executive secretary, email: exec@icc2013.ru, phone: +7 (495) 939-26-31, mobile phone (only in case of necessity) +7 (910) 441-80-63. The Conference Secretariat is responsible for all issues related to humanitarian visas.

Tourist visas

Who can apply. The tourist visas are suitable for several categories of persons.

  • Conference participants and Visitors who are too late to apply for a humanitarian visa, for example because of the late payment of the registration fee.
  • Accompanying persons, as they cannot apply for a humanitarian visa at all (they do not take part in the Conference activities and so there are no "scientific activities" for humanitarian visa to be given for).
  • Those who wish to arrive to Russia long before the Conference starts (entry date before 27 June 2013) and/or leave Russia long after the Conference is finished (leave date after 8 July 2013).
  • Other categories, by request.

Dates for which visa supporting documents are given. The visa supporting documents will be normally given for the official dates of the Conference (from 30 June 2013 to 05 July 2013, inclusive) unless you specify a shorter period of time. Derogations from this rule are possible if you intend to stay in Russia for a longer period of time and order respective services (e.g. hotel stay, etc.) from our Service Agent.

Requirements. To apply for a tourist visa, you must satisfy, at the date of the visa request, the following requirements.

  • Your request must be not later than the deadline date for tourist visa requests (03 June 2013); and
  • Your registration fee must be paid in full (except for Accompanying persons); and
  • You must do one of the following
    • order and pay for a hotel (for all period of intended stay in Russia) via our Service Agent, or
    • apply for a 1000 RUB tourist voucher.

The deadline for tourist visa request is 03 June 2013.

After your visa request, the official Conference Service Agent, MONOMAX CONGRESSES & INCENTIVES, will provide foreign participants, visitors and accompanying persons with the necessary visa voucher to obtain the Russian tourist visa.
